4 Days Samburu-Sweet Waters (Ol Pejeta)

After an early breakfast, you will be picked up from the hotel or airport and depart for Samburu passing through hush farmlands and across the Equator. You will be sure to take a brief stop for pictures and a picnic lunch at the Equator. Proceed to Samburu to a rugged semi desert region. Dinner and overnight will be in a camp/lodge.

Spend another day with both morning and afternoon game viewing drives. The main attractions are the resident wildlife species like the Reticulated Giraffe, Gravy’s Zebra, Beisa Oryx, and the blue-necked Somali Ostrich that are rare elsewhere in the country. Return to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast and morning game drive, depart to Sweet Waters. You should be arriving in the afternoon in time for an evening game drive. Enjoy different optional activities like game viewing, walking safaris, or even night game drives. There is also an option of a visit to chimpanzee sanctuary. The sanctuary boasts of "The Big Five" (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo) and other wildlife like giraffe, zebra, eland, oryx, waterbuck, Grant's gazelle, Thompson's gazelle, cheetah, silver-backed jackal, hartebeest, baboon, and several hundred bird species.
