Kilimanjaro in Amboseli. Amboseli” comes from a Maasai word meaning “salty dust”, and it is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close

Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi- Amboseli

Leave Nairobi and Drive South through masaai country via Namanga on the Tanzania Border and on to Amboseli with lunch enroute On arrival proceed for afternoon game drive, which provides a chance to see wild animals with mount Kilimanjaro on the Backdrop. Dinner and overnight at the camp

Day 2: Amboseli

Early morning pre-breakfast game drive, return to the camp for late breakfast. After breakfast proceed for a further game drive or to a lodge for swimming (optional) lunch at the Lodge/campsite. Proceed for late afternoon game drive returning to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Amboseli- Tsavo West

After breakfast leave the camp for morning game drive, then leave Amboseli for Tsavo West National Park with lunch enroute. On arrival set up the camp then proceed for the afternoon game drive. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Tsavo West- Tsavo East

Early morning breakfast followed by morning game drive with a visit to the Mzima Springs. Leave Tsavo West for Tsavo East arriving in good time for afternoon game drive, dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 5: Tsavo East- Mombasa

After breakfast proceed for early morning game drive until lunchtime then leave the park to be dropped in Mombasa or return to Nairobi according to the program.
