Terms and Conditions – ThinkScene Safaris

Thank you for choosing ThinkScene Safaris for your East African travel experience. Please carefully review our terms and conditions to ensure a smooth and memorable journey. By booking with us, you agree to abide by the terms outlined below.

Reservations and Payments

  1. Once ThinkScene Safaris confirms the availability of your preferred travel dates, you are required to pay a deposit of 40% of the total tour cost per person within 7 days to secure your reservation. Payments can be made via our secure payment link or bank transfer through USD I&M Bank Acc. 00105851281250
    • Failure to make this deposit within the 7-day window will result in an automatic cancellation of your reservation.
  2. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before your tour departure date.
    • For bookings made less than 30 days prior to departure, full payment is required immediately upon confirmation of the reservation.
  3. All payments must clear into ThinkScene Safaris’ account, and any applicable bank charges are the responsibility of the client. Proof of payment must be emailed to our team at payments@thinkscenesafaris.com or What’sApp +254717701189/+254722648882 to finalize your booking.
  4. Accepted currencies: US Dollars ($), Euros (€), UK Pounds (£), and Kenyan Shillings (KSh).

Cancellation and Refund Policy

  1. Cancellations are subject to the following charges:
    • More than 30 days before departure: Full deposit forfeited (40% of tour cost).
    • 15-29 days before departure: 50% of the total tour cost.
    • 14 days or less before departure: 100% of the total tour cost.
  2. No refunds will be provided for any unused services or portions of the tour, including early departure or changes made by participants during the trip.
  3. We strongly recommend that clients purchase travel insurance to cover cancellations or other unforeseen events.

Changes and Adjustments

  1. ThinkScene Safaris reserves the right to modify itineraries, accommodations, or other services due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, park regulations, or safety concerns).
    • We will make every effort to notify you of such changes in advance.
  2. Prices are subject to adjustment due to fluctuations in exchange rates, fuel costs, government taxes, or other factors beyond our control. In such cases, any additional costs will be communicated promptly.
  3. Any changes requested by the client post-booking may incur additional charges and are subject to availability.

Responsibilities and Liability

  1. ThinkScene Safaris acts as an agent for lodges, transport providers, and other service providers. We are not liable for any injuries, loss, or damages arising from services provided by third parties.
  2. Clients may be required to sign indemnity forms at certain lodges or activity sites.
  3. ThinkScene Safaris will not be held responsible for delays, cancellations, or other disruptions caused by airlines, visa processing delays, or other external factors.

Travel Documentation

  1. All travelers must have valid passports with at least two consecutive blank pages for visa stamps.
  2. Passports must be valid for a minimum of 6 months from the travel date.

Medical Insurance

  1. It is strongly advised for all clients to have comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, cancellations, personal injury, and loss of property.
  2. ThinkScene Safaris is not responsible for any medical costs incurred during the trip.

Privacy and Confidentiality

  1. All personal information shared with ThinkScene Safaris will be treated as strictly confidential and will not be shared with third parties unless required by law.
  2. We will never sell or distribute your personal information for marketing purposes.

Agreement

  1. By confirming your booking with ThinkScene Safaris, you agree to these terms and conditions.
  2. ThinkScene Safaris acts as an agent for its business partners, and any disputes arising from services provided by third parties will be addressed under the terms of those specific partners.
