Overview
Treetops Lodge in Aberdare National Park is famous as the place where Queen Elizabeth II visited as a princess and left as queen.
Originally built in 1932, Treetops Lodge lies in the path of an ancient Elephant migratory route between the Aberdare Ranges and Mt Kenya National park, and is strategically sited right in front of a natural watering hole and salt lick, making it the perfect place to view game.

Maasai warriors are famously known as the proud nomadic tribe whose legendary prowess in battle and single-handed acts of bravery in fights with the wild animals are known across the world. This visit gives a good tour of Maasai culture and you will be welcomed with a sing and dance presentation, which forms part of their daily lives and sacred rituals.
Itinerary
Arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in the evening and then transfer to a city hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast depart Nairobi for (Nyeri). Lunch at Outspan which is the base hotel for Treetops which is in the Aberdares National Park. After lunch the hotel transport you to Treetops. Elephants dominantly rule the waterholes and salt licks. There are other animals which also come to drink water such as lions and hyenas; they have to contend with elephants seeing them off at great speed. Some animals such as Leopards are shy and mostly seen und as Leopards are shy and mostly seen under the night-time floodlight. Dinner and overnight at Treetops.
Early morning wake up all, refresh and depart Treetops to Outspan for breakfast which is served from 0700 hours. After breakfast drive north leaving the highlands. We drive down to dry scrublands of Northern Kenya and head towards Samburu National Reserve. The permanent water and forest shade on the banks of Ewaso Nyiro River attract plentiful wildlife from the region including elephant, cheetah, giraffe, oryx, vervet monkeys, zebra, and crocodiles. Leopards are usually spotted. This is one of the pleasant parks in Kenya and is not too crowded. Arriving in time for lunch, and enjoy a late afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Sopa Lodge/similar Lodge/Luxury Tented Camp.
After breakfast, morning game drive. Lunch at Samburu Sopa Lodge. Afternoon game drive. Optional: You can visit local Samburu village for Cultural learning. The Samburu people are close relatives of the Masai tribes men and share a lot of similarities as both depend on livestock for livelihood with nomadic lifestyles. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Sopa Lodge/similar Lodge/Luxury Tented Camp.
After breakfast, depart Samburu Sopa Lodge and drive towards Nanyuki, for Sweetwaters Tented Camp just 30 kms from the turn off to Nanyuki town. En-route we cross the equator, which is very close to the second highest mountain in Africa, the snow capped Mount Kenya. Sweetwaters Tented Camp is located on a private game ranch and set on a 22,000-acre rhino and chimpanzee sanctuary on Ol Pejeta Ranch.
Lunch at Sweetawters Tented Camp. A late afternoon game drive, where you may be able to see a variety of animals like rhino, buffalo, giraffe, and zebra and plains game. Optional: A night game drive is done before dinner and overnight at Sweetwaters Tented Camp. Dinner and overnight at Sweetwaters Tented Camp.
After breakfast, depart Sweetwaters Tented Camp for Lake Nakuru National Park in the Great Rift Valley passing through the arid lands and the highlands of Kenya. En-route game drive to Lake Nakuru Lodge for lunch. Afternoon game drive.
The Lake Nakuru National Park, commonly referred to as the pink lake is also home to a huge colony of flamingo and the endangered black Rhino. Then proceed to Lake Naivasha. Dinner and for overnight at Lake Naivasha Country Club/similar lodge
After breakfast, depart Lake Naivasha Country Club for Masai Mara National Reserve, Lunch at Mara Sopa Lodge. Masai Mara is located in the Great Rift Valley primary on the open grasslands. The reserve is the Jewel of Kenya Wildlife areas. After lunch proceed for a game drive in search of Rhino, black Manned Lions, Elephants, Leopards, Buffalo and others plains games.
Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge/similar Lodge/Luxury Tented Camp.
This day is spent game viewing across the rich tree studded grassland and rolling Hills. The Famous Masai Mara is renowned for its great leads of plains game that abound in plenty. An optional: Visit the Masai village for a Cultural learning Experience or Balloon safari over the plains of Masai Mara to enjoy the vista. On landing you will be treated to a heart full champagne breakfast in the bush.
Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge/Similar Lodge/Luxury Tented Camp.
After breakfast, depart Mara National Reserve for Nairobi, lunch at Carnivore Restaurant and after lunch transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for a flight to the next destination.
